WHEREAS: Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka was established on January 12, 1987, and became incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization on February 11, 1987. The program is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, who oversees all phases of the program; and

Council has approved the 2026 Municipal Budget, balancing fiscal responsibility with continued investment in community safety, infrastructure, and long-term service sustainability.
The approved budget reflects the Town’s ability to manage significant external financial pressures, including the loss of $1.5 million in provincial funding following the cancellation of Automated Speed Enforcement programs.
