  • If you have any Accounts Receivables owing to the Town you can view that information (please note majority of residents will have a general receivable box although it will be empty with a $0.00 balance)

Can I make payments on Virtual Town Hall?

Yes, although you can only make credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard or AMEX) on Virtual Town Hall. Virtual Town Hall is the only option for property tax and/or water payments to be made by credit card.

PLEASE NOTE: A service fee is applied to any payment made using credit card. The service fee will show prior to you submitting your payment. If you do not want to pay the service fee you can remit payment to the Town using our many other alternative payment options.

Receiving an error message when making a credit card payment?

If you are having issues when paying by credit card, here are some of the most common issues:

  • When entering your credit card information you must ensure the address especially the postal code is the same as listed on your credit card bill. For example: if you recently moved to Bradford and have not updated your credit card billing address you will have to input your previous address to allow the payment to go through.
  • Only Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are accepted

Please note:

  • A service applies to make payment by credit card on Virtual Town hall
  • Credit card payment is not accepted in office or over the phone, Virtual Town Hall is the only credit option available to pay property tax and/ or water & wastewater utility bills

My Account Listing shows a General Receivables account, why?

The Town’s software system is customer base, therefore when we change ownership to a property tax account it automatically creates a General Receivable (also known as Accounts Receivable) account. Majority of residents in town never use this account and it will show as $0.00.

If your General Receivable account shows a balance and you are unsure what the charges are for, please email ar@townofbwg.com for further information.

Can I see copies of my bills on Virtual Town Hall?

Copies of bills are only available if they were sent by e-bill. If you wish to enroll to receive future bills by email and have them show on Virtual Town Hall, please fill out our online form or email finservices@townofbwg.com

Can I change the mailing address listed?
