Regulations are in place to ensure that accessible parking spaces are available for those who need them. To monitor appropriate parking space use, BWG's Enforcement Officers actively patrol parking areas throughout the community.
Accessible Parking Spaces are only for individuals with valid permits.
Non-permit holders:
- The set fine for parking in an Accessible Parking space without a valid permit displayed is $350.
- If parking next to an accessible parking space, avoid parking on the access aisles (marked with yellow). Access aisles provide space for those with disabilities to get in and out of vehicles.
Permit holders:
- Each accessible parking space is intended for one vehicle only.
- Are required to display their permit on the dashboard or sunvisor so that the entire permit is clearly visible from outside of the vehicle.
- Inappropriate use of the permit may result in the permit being seized.

Posters are available for pick-up at the BWG Administration Office (100 Dissette Street, Unit 7&8) or we’d be happy to drop one off at your business.
Keeping accessible parking spaces available for those who truly need them is a shared responsibility.
