NOTICE OF WATER SHUT DOWN


WHAT:

To facilitate the work, the water to the addresses listed below will require to be shut off to allow for the safe connection to the
new watermain.

As part of the Drury St.–Mary St.–Thomas St.–Elizabeth St.–Holland Crt. Reconstruction Project, the watermain has been installed, commissioned and is now ready to connect too. At this time the connections will be made to 200 Holland Court as well as the final main connection to the existing watermain at Holland Street.

Nightmare on Colborne Street – BWG’s Haunted House Experience

The Town of BWG Youth Team dares you to step inside the Nightmare on Colborne Street! From October 21 to 25, 4:00–8:00 p.m., the Youth Recreation Centre (226 Colborne Street) will be transformed into a haunted house experience that’s sure to get hearts racing.

For just $3 cash-only drop-in admission, guests of all ages can explore the frightening halls—if they’re brave enough.

This haunted attraction features strobe lighting, loud noises, and jump scares that may not be suitable for all visitors....

Access restrictions on County Road 4 & Line 10

When: Tuesday, September 23 to Friday, September 26, 2025
Where: County Road 4 at Line 10, Bradford West Gwillimbury.

The County of Simcoe will be implementing temporary access restrictions to accommodate construction of the centre lanes on County Road 4. Please note the following changes during the work:

  • No left turns to or from properties on either side of County Road 4 between Line 9 and just north of Line 10.
  • No left turns onto Line 10 East or Line 10...

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2025

In the spirit of reconciliation, we invite the community to memorialize the children lost to the residential school system and honour survivors, their families, and their communities. Join us for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at the BWG Leisure Centre, 471 West Park Avenue, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Join us at 5:00 pm for a Smudge and flag raising ceremony, and a story board walk along Public Square.
