Traffic Notice – Eastbound Lane Closure on 6th Line

Please be advised that there will be an eastbound lane closure on 6th Line, just west of Simcoe Road, on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Should rain delay the work, it will be completed on Friday, September 26.

The contractor will be completing work under an approved traffic control plan. A detour will be in place, directing traffic around the work zone using the middle lane to maintain traffic flow.

Municipal Tree & Sidewalk Pruning

The Town’s contractor will be completing tree and sidewalk pruning over the coming weeks. This routine maintenance is important to:

  • Ensure safe passage along sidewalks and roadways

  • Improve visibility for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians

  • Support the long-term health of our urban trees
