Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire & Emergency Services has completed an extensive NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 1006 Ice Water Rescue Technician certification program.
The training program ran from December 2025, through March 2026. The program began with online theoretical studies. Site Preparation to Begin for New Civic Centre at 125 Simcoe Road

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury will begin site preparation later this month as the first step in the development of the new Civic Centre at 125 Simcoe Road.
To accommodate the future building and associated parking, 19 trees will be removed in advance of the return of migratory birds. The Town will more than offset this impact through the replanting of 60 new trees, featuring a mix of native species to support long-term environmental sustainability.

BWG Begins Spring Hydrant Flushing

Starting March 23 for BWG
Every Spring and Fall, the Town’s Water Division completes watermain flushing, which consists of running water at every hydrant to ensure a clean and fresh water supply for our municipal water customers.
Starting Monday, March 23, and over the following several weeks, water will be run at every hydrant in BWG. For this Spring’s exercise, the team will begin with BWG South West quadrant of Town (South of Holland and West of Melbourne).
