In a community update recently published by our Library CEO, the Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library (BWGPL) Board shared that they have applied to the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB) to request first collective agreement arbitration.

Work will be performed along municipal drain known as Edward Street Branch of Morris Road Drain.
When: Work is expected to begin on Monday, August 21, 2023, and is expected to take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting.

Carrot Fest 2024 Parking and Road Closures Notice:
Ahead of Carrot Fest next week please be advised of the following road closures, detours, parking, and transit details.
Free Parking will be available in various municipal lots surrounding the festival:

BWG’s Accessibility Advisory Committee Publishes Accessible Taxicab Survey

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), requires that municipalities consult with the public regarding the need for accessible taxicabs and transportation in the community. The Town of BWG’s Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) is looking at options to increase inclusive transportation for all residents.
