BWG to Recognize Local Volunteers During National Volunteer Week

In celebration of National Volunteer Week (April 21 to 27), the Town of BWG is hosting its third annual Volunteer Appreciation Event to recognize local volunteers who have played a vital role in supporting our community events and leisure programs over the year.

On April 17, volunteers with the Event Volunteer Program and BWG Leisure Centre will gather at the BWG Leisure Centre for the “BWG APPreciates you” themed recognition event. Refreshments and appetizers will be served by Off Cut & Co.

Seasonal Load Restrictions are lifting early this year!

Seasonal load restrictions are in effect annually, between March 1 and April 30, to reduce damage to our road network during the spring thaw. Effective April 17, load restrictions on all Town and County roads will be removed. Thank you to our community and partners for helping us maintain our road network.

Thursday, April 11 marked a significant milestone in addressing the pressing needs of our aging population as LOFT Community Services celebrated the commencement of the redevelopment of Bradford House. Help tackle waste to maintain a clean and healthy community.

In celebration of Earth Day, the Town of BWG is happy to announce the return of Community Clean-up Week. Join Council, staff, and fellow community members in tackling waste and supporting a clean and healthy BWG.
