This meeting is held pursuant to Sections 41(2), 79(1), 80.8, 80.19, 80.29 and 80.39 of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation 191/11.

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Accessibility Advisory Committee invites member of the public to attend this public meeting to provide feedback with respect to transportation services, on-street parking spaces, recreational trails, outdoor play spaces, rest areas, and exterior paths of travel.

Traffic Alert: Ride for Sick Kids to pass through BWG

On Sunday, August 11th, 2024, the Ride for Sick Kids will kick off at 11:00am beginning in Vaughan. This charity motorcycle ride aims to raise funds for Sick Kids Hospital and will feature between 500-600 riders. ⁠ ⁠

The 130km route will pass through King Township, Bradford, and Tottenham before returning to the starting point. The ride is expected to last 2-2.5 hours and will have traffic control provided by YRP officers to ensure safety.⁠ ⁠

National Peacekeepers' Day August 9, 2024

WHEREAS: We raise the United Nations flag on behalf of the past, present and future peacekeepers residing in Central Ontario; and

WHEREAS: On August 9, 1974, an aircraft was shot down during peacekeeping duties, ultimately killing all nine personnel on board. It was and still is the largest loss of Canadian Peacekeepers in a single day. Cpl B.K. Stringer and Warrant Officer C.B. Korejwo were two soldiers from this area that made the supreme sacrifice; and
