As part of this year-long celebration, Bradford West Gwillimbury is proud to kick things off with the return of Marsh Mash which is the 4th oldest marathon canoe race in the province, taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025!

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) and ARGO Corporation hosted a milestone celebration on Monday April 7, marking the successful launch of BWG’s on-demand transit system. The high-profile event brought together provincial cabinet ministers, municipal leaders, transportation stakeholders, and media to witness the world's first fully vertically integrated municipality-wide transit system.

Take notice that the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has initiated an amendment to the Town’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2010-050 in order to conform with Provincial and municipal legislation in relation to permissions for Barrier-Free Parking Standards, and to update and modernize provisions relating to Accessory Farm Employee Accommodations, Height for Accessory Dwellings in Residential Zones, and restrictions on residential dwellings in Countryside Zones.

Bradford West Gwillimbury Launches On-Demand Transit System

Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) is excited to announce the staged rollout of its new On-Demand transit system. This new transit system begins today providing residents with service via an easy-to-use app. Residents can request a ride near their door for a standard transit fare, with smart technology dynamically adding stops based on rider demand. Using Argo Transit, the On-Demand service will begin rolling out to residents starting today...
