Join us on September 18 at the Bradford Public Library and Cultural Centre [Zima Room] from 6 - 8pm for BWG's Municipal Open House, a Week of Welcome (WOW) event. Residents can stop in to learn about the municipal services that are available to them including Bylaw, Recreation, Finance, Library, South Simcoe Police Service, Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services, Growth Services, and much more.
BWG is working with the Simcoe County Local Immigration Partnership to host the area’s second Week of Welcome, which is taking place from September 15 to 19. Events include a social service fair, an immigrant entrepreneur panel , a regional job fair, and municipal open houses on September 18.
“The Week of Welcome is a wonderful chance to connect with our residents—especially those who are just joining our community,” said Town of BWG Mayor, James Leduc. “It’s important that people not only learn about the many programs and services available but also feel confident in knowing how to access them. I’m excited to meet with residents, share in conversation, and continue building the strong, inclusive spirit that makes our town such a great place to call home.”
