2025 marks a historic milestone as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Holland Marsh—a century of agricultural excellence, community spirit, and natural beauty. As part of this year-long celebration, Bradford West Gwillimbury is proud to kick things off with the return of Marsh Mash which is the 4th oldest marathon canoe race in the province, taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025!

The Canal, which surrounds the Holland Marsh provides one of the best canoe racing courses in Ontario. Racers can choose from a variety of recreational and competitive classes and distances, including a class for adult and children and stand-up paddleboard divisions, with race lengths ranging from 5km to 28km.
