Spring into Spring!

Celebrate the arrival of warmer weather by joining us and your school for the Spring into Spring Walk & Wheel Day on April 1!

This fun, community-focused event encourages students and families to walk, bike, scoot, or roll to and from school while enjoying the fresh spring air. Along the way, take time to notice the season in bloom—smell the flowers, play a game of hopscotch, and wave hello to friends and neighbours in your community.

Walking and wheeling to school is a great way to stay active, reduce traffic congestion, and promote safer, more connected neighbourhoods. Whether you travel the whole way or part of the journey, every step (or roll!) makes a difference.

This initiative is part of the Town’s On the Move program, supporting safe and active transportation in school zones.
