Ring in in the New Year with Family Fun!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with your family and friends at the BWG Leisure Centre with the 13^th annual Family First Night event on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm at the BWG Leisure Centre and Public Square.

This free family-friendly event features indoor activities from 4:00-6:30pm including leisure skating (skate aids not permitted), leisure swimming (admission policy ratios apply), inflatable obstacle courses in the gymnasium, a toddler area, busker shows, a photobooth, glitter tattoos, a caricature artist, crafts and more!

New this year, we are thrilled to expand outdoor activities that will take place in Public Square. Outdoor activities will take place from 4:30-7:00 p.m. and will include busker shows, music by Cara Lea & Leo, train rides, RSR Catering food truck, free hot chocolate (while supplies last) courtesy of Tim Hortons, giveaways and a group busker fire show to conclude the evening from 6:30-7:00pm.

This event is open to everyone and all activities are free of charge. Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank. They are in need of the following items:

oatmeal & cereals, pasta, pasta sauces, canned fish & meat, snack foods (granola bars, crackers), peanut butter, canned vegetables, baby food, diapers, wipes, soaps, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, menstrual products and toilet paper
