Notice of Complete Applications and
Public Meeting on Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment
Pursuant to Sections 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended
Take notice that the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has received the following complete applications for requesting an amendment to the Town's Zoning By-law 2010-050:

AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 7:00 pm to consider the proposed amendments. The Council meeting will be held in the Zima Room of the BWG Library & Cultural Centre located at 425 Holland Street West, Bradford, and streamed live on the Town’s YouTube channel at: www.youtube.com/c/TownofBradfordWestGwillimbury.
(Please note that there may be more than one public meeting and that the matter will be dealt with in the order that it appears on the agenda.)
The purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the northern portion of the subject lands from Marsh Agricultural (AM) to a site-specific Marsh Agricultural (AM*XX) zone in order to permit the construction and use of one (1) detached dwelling, subject to the following site-specific provisions:
- Permission for one (1) detached dwelling on a lot greater than 4.0 hectares in area;
- Maximum front yard setback of 45.0 metres;
- Minimum interior side yard setback of 15.0 metres;
- Maximum lot coverage of 5%.

If you are unable to make written submissions and therefore wish to make an oral statement during the public meeting, please email clerk@townofbwg.com prior to noon on March 31, 2026, to register. All oral statements will be recorded as part of the electronic meeting and will be posted for public viewing on www.youtube.com/c/TownofBradfordWestGwillimbury.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Council regarding the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment, you must submit a written request to Mana Masoudi at the address indicated above.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
