Long-Term Lane and Sidewalk Closure – Holland Street West

The Town of BWG is advising residents and motorists of a long-term lane and sidewalk closure along Holland Street West in front of the 123 Holland Street development.

Beginning May 11, 2026, the north lane in the westbound direction and the north sidewalk will be closed. This continuous closure is required to support construction activities and is currently anticipated to remain in place through September 2027.

What to expect

Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the affected area
The sidewalk along the north side will be closed
No left turns will be permitted in or out of the plaza at 140 Holland Street to help traffic move efficiently through the corridor
Left turns will remain available at Collings Avenue, just west of the closure

Access to Businesses
All businesses in the area will remain open and accessible throughout construction. Driveways will remain open and operational.

Traffic and safety
Motorists may experience minor delays and are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly. Traffic control measures will be in place at all times and will follow applicable standards to ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians.
