Fall Community Clean-up Week Returns for 2025

Help tackle waste and support a clean and healthy community by participating in BWG’s Community Clean-up Week.

The Town of BWG is happy to share that Community Clean-up Week is back this fall! This is a great opportunity for residents to come together, help tackle waste, and support a clean and healthy community.

Community Clean-up Week will take place from Monday, October 6 – Sunday October 12, 2025. Throughout the week, and at their convenience, we welcome residents to participate – pick up a 'Clean-up Kit' and start collecting waste around their neighborhoods.

The Clean-up Kits include garbage bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, instructions, and safety tips. Clean-up Kits will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, with no registration required. Participants can collect their kits at the BWG Leisure Centre (471 West Park Ave.), starting Wednesday, October 1, 2025, while supplies last. Pick-up is available during our regular hours of operation (Monday-Friday between 6:00 am - 10:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm).

Residents are encouraged to tackle public parks, greenspaces, or trails in BWG; and can participate at any time throughout the week (October 6-12, 2025). Please keep safety top of mind when selecting a day, time, and location, and as you collect waste.
