Work is expected to begin MONDAY, MAY 5th, weather permitting. The entire project is expected to take approximately fifteen (15) weeks to complete.
**NOTE: Time to complete each location will vary and may be extended due to inclement weather.
Work will include partial or full depth asphalt removal, the removal and replacement of damaged sections of concrete curb and sidewalk where applicable, the installation of a new hot-mix asphalt road surface, the installation of granular shoulders where applicable, and final site restoration and clean up.
HOW YOU MAY BE AFFECTED:
Access to residential driveways may be temporarily obstructed during the curb repairs, as well as during the asphalt paving process. Affected homeowners will be notified in advance so that alternate arrangements can be made.
Following the paving process, homeowners are requested not to park on the newly paved road for 24-hours to allow the asphalt enough time to consolidate and cool.
Homeowners may also experience disruptions in Rogers or Bell service as buried service cables may be damaged or broken during the repair process.
Should a service disruption be experienced, homeowners should call their service provider directly to arrange for a repair. Please have your account number and details available when calling.
THE TOWN IS NOT ABLE TO ARRANGE FOR CABLE REPAIRS ON YOUR BEHALF.
