Celebrating the New Year: Lieutenant Governor to Attend BWG Mayor’s Levee

Mayor Leduc and Members of Council invite the community to the ninth annual Mayor’s New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11:30am–2:15pm at the BWG Leisure Centre.

The Town of BWG is honoured to welcome The Honourable Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, who will be attending this year’s event. The event will begin with a welcome ceremony in Community Corner at 11:30am.

This family-friendly celebration will feature free leisure skating from 12:15–2:15pm, free family sports in the gymnasium from 12:15–2:00pm, and live musical entertainment by Russ Clayton. Council will also be serving complimentary cake beginning at 12:00pm.

All BWG residents are welcome, and all activities are free.
