Back to Searchhe Town's 2026 Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance Program is scheduled to begin Monday, May 4, 2026, weather permitting. These projects are part of the Town’s ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, reliable road infrastructure.
Project Details
Road Rehabilitation
- Essa Street (between Frederick Street and Queen Street)
- Curb and sidewalk removal and replacement
- Full asphalt removal and replacement
Crack Sealing
- Walker Avenue
- Simcoe Road (Line 6 to Canal Road)
- Golfview Boulevard / Kathryn Court
- Professor Day Drive (Holland Street West to Breeze Drive)
Traffic Impacts
Temporary road closures will be implemented on Essa Street during work hours (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM). Access will be maintained for:
- Emergency services
- School and municipal buses
- Waste and recycling collection
Motorists may experience minor delays and are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly.
