Notice of County Road 88 and 5th Sideroad Lane Closure

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Transportation and Water Departments will be doing water main daylighting on Thursday, February 15, 2024. A lane closure will be in effect for the East Bound lane going along County Road 88 west of 5th Sideroad the lane will be temporarily closed due to construction work.
The closures will remain in effect from 5 am to no later than 5 pm on Thursday, February 15th.
2023 Urban Roads Design Project Update

Accardi Schaeffers has been retained to complete the detailed design work for the 2023 Urban Roads project. In order to support the detailed design, we will be conducting investigative works on site and you may see surveyors, geotechnical engineers, underground utility investigators, and arborists.

Downtown Bradford Revitalization Project Update

It has been identified during the Detail Design process, that additional topographic survey information is required. Beginning the first week of January 2024 (weather pending), survey crews will be working along the following areas to collect additional data.
- Toronto Street and John Street,
- Collings Avenue, Maplegrove Avenue, and Magani Avenue,
- Holland Court,
- Simcoe Road and Thomas Street, and
- Colborne Street and John Street.

Notice of Planned Traffic Light Outage
Please be advised of a planned traffic light outage on November 30th 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Intersection of Line 6 and Simcoe Road.
South Simcoe Police Services will be conducting traffic control during that time.
Notice of Traffic Lights Service Disruption

Please be advised that Hydro One is planning an outage which will effect Traffic Lights at the intersection of Line 6 and Sideroad 5 will not be operating on Sunday November 5th, 2023 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm.
To help navigate during that time Police will be conducting traffic control on site.
Please note that some nearby intersections may be impacted as well including:
- County Road 27 and Line 5
- County Road 27 and Line 8
- County Road 27 and County Road 88
