Inclusion Community Event

Event Description:
Join us for a free and welcoming community drop-in event focused on inclusion and connection for families. Local organizations with inclusive programs will be on site to share information about programs, services, recreational opportunities, supports, and resources available for children, youth, and family members of all abilities.
Families and caregivers are invited to explore what is available within the community, ask questions, gather resources, and connect directly with organizations that provide inclusive programming and support services. This is a free drop-in program, and all are welcome.

 

Preschool Play Fair

  • Date: Friday, September 18th
  • Time: 9:30 am - 12:30pm
  • Location: BWG Gymnasium
  • Age: 2-5 years
  • Fee: $5.00 per child

Event Description:
Join us for an exciting morning spent enjoying interactive activities, photo ops, and our hands-on sensory station with your little ones. Featuring a special interactive show by Zoo to You at 10:00am, it's sure to be a fun-filled morning you won't want to miss!
Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and will only be available for purchase at the Leisure Centre customer service desk starting at 9:15am on the day of the event. 

Laugh & Learn – Seniors Drop-in!

  • Date: Wednesday’s - May 20th to August 5th
  • Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Location: BWG Community Hub - Program Room A (177 Church Street)
  • Fee: $2 at the door (cash only)
  • Ages: 50+

Program Description:
Join us for our Seniors Drop-In Program, designed to keep your mind active, engaged, and thriving! This welcoming program offers a mix of fun and stimulating activities including trivia, puzzles, brain games, social interaction, refreshments and treats.
Participants will also benefit from informative workshops and discussions focused on healthy living and overall well-being. Whether you’re looking to challenge your mind, learn something new, or simply connect with others in the community, this program has something for everyone.
Come out, stay sharp, and enjoy great company!

Seniors Concert – Cruisin’ Vocal Band!
