The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury invites everyone to join in on the Canada Day celebrations on Sunday, July 1 at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre. The festivities commence at 4:30pm, and includes entertainment, music, food, the official ceremonies, the presentation of the annual Civic Awards and closing with an amazing show of fireworks at 10pm.
Wear your red and white, join your neighbours and meet new friends as the whole community celebrates the nation’s birthday.

Extreme Heat Warning
Weather Specialists are calling for an extreme heat event for the Canada Day long weekend. Daytime high temperatures in the low thirties are forecast, with humidex values in the low forties. Low temperatures overnight are expected to be in the low to mid twenties.
Come out and the enjoy Canada Day with us! Stay comfortable and safe in the hot weather by being prepared.
Here's a checklist to help you prepare for the day outdoors:
Water Bottle Filling Stations: A water bottle filling station will be available in the parking lot beside the BWG Info Booth.
Shaded Areas: A few canopies will be set up on the field to provide shade.
Cool Off Indoors: Please note that the Auditorium (upstairs) of the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre will be open from Noon until 10:00pm.
First Aid: The First Aid station will be located outside in the parking lot beside the BWG Information Tent. A trained and hired paramedic will be in attendance. If you someone, or you yourself are feeling unwell find an events staff person or volunteer (in vests, red or blue shirts) and they can bring you to the first aid tent.
