OUTDOOR RINK UPDATE
Our outdoor rink boards are installed and ready—now we’re waiting for the right weather to begin flooding. To build a safe and durable ice surface, we need about one full week of consistent double digit negative temps (-10C and below) which typically occurs in early January. Once those conditions arrive, crews will begin flooding to get the rinks open as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your patience—we look forward to welcoming everyone back on the ice soon!
Our Parks and Property staff operate and maintain four outdoor ice rinks in BWG over the winter months. When open, residents are welcome to use the rink at their leisure, at no cost, between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:00 pm. Please read the rink status and review our rink rules below before you plan your visit.
