Notice of Application of Larvicide for Mosquito Control in BWGFrom June 17 to October 31, 2024, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, under the authority of the Simcoe Muskoka Medical Officer of Health, will conduct a program to control mosquito larvae (immature mosquitoes) in standing water to prevent their development into potential carriers of West Nile virus.
The larvicide (Altosid Pellets PCP#21809, pellet formulation) and (Altosid Granules PCP# 22676,) will be applied by direct hand application to catch basins of storm drains in the following.

Notice of EOI for Accessible Taxi Cab Grant/Marketing AgreementsThe Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Council has approved a one-time grant for taxicab companies licensed in Bradford West Gwillimbury to off-set the initial cost of purchasing or retrofitting an on-demand wheelchair accessible taxicab, as well as online advertising.
In addition to the monetary grant, Council also approved a stand-alone Accessible Taxicab Marketing Agreement.
