WHEREAS: Khalsa Day marks the anniversary of the founding of the Sikh Order of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh. The first Khalsa Day was held in India on April 13, 1699; and
WHEREAS: Bradford West Gwillimbury residents of the Sikh faith have made and continue to make tremendous contributions to the growth and development of the community and the country as a whole; andWHEREAS: A fundamental strength of our community lies in our unique racial and ethno-cultural diversity.
BWG Celebrates Landmark Launch of Argo's Smart Routing™ Transit SystemThe Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) and ARGO Corporation hosted a milestone celebration on Monday April 7, marking the successful launch of BWG’s on-demand transit system. The high-profile event brought together provincial cabinet ministers, municipal leaders, transportation stakeholders, and media to witness the world's first fully vertically integrated municipality-wide transit system.
