    WHEREAS: Khalsa Day marks the anniversary of the founding of the Sikh Order of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh. The first Khalsa Day was held in India on April 13, 1699; and

    WHEREAS: Bradford West Gwillimbury residents of the Sikh faith have made and continue to make tremendous contributions to the growth and development of the community and the country as a whole; and

    WHEREAS: A fundamental strength of our community lies in our unique racial and ethno-cultural diversity.

    BWG Celebrates Landmark Launch of Argo's Smart Routing™ Transit System
    The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) and ARGO Corporation hosted a milestone celebration on Monday April 7, marking the successful launch of BWG’s on-demand transit system. The high-profile event brought together provincial cabinet ministers, municipal leaders, transportation stakeholders, and media to witness the world's first fully vertically integrated municipality-wide transit system.

    Take notice that the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has initiated an amendment to the Town’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2010-050 in order to conform with Provincial and municipal legislation in relation to permissions for Barrier-Free Parking Standards, and to update and modernize provisions relating to Accessory Farm Employee Accommodations, Height for Accessory Dwellings in Residential Zones, and restrictions on residential dwellings in Countryside Zones.
