    WHEREAS: Indian Independence Day is celebrated annually on August 15 commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947; and

  • Nine Volunteer Recruit Firefighters Graduate, Ready to Serve BWG

    On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, nine volunteer recruit firefighters will officially graduate after eight months of intensive training and will begin responding to calls the very next day.

    The graduates – Christopher Brinkos, Steven dePeuter, Elisabeth Hihnala, Kaitlyn Owen, Ethan Pinto, William Poot, Jackson Taylor, Joshua Wells, and Rachel Zawadi – began training on January 8, 2025.
