    The County of Simcoe will be implementing temporary access restrictions to accommodate construction of the centre lanes on County Road 4.

    We understand that many of our residents are feeling frustrated by the traffic delays caused by the ongoing Holland River Bridge rehabilitation project. We know the impact on your daily commute is real, especially during the morning and afternoon rush hours, but this work is necessary to ensure the long-term safety and functionality of the bridge.

  • BWG Gets “On the Move” to Support Active and Safe Travel to School

    This fall, families across BWG are being encouraged to lace up their shoes and roll out their wheels as part of On the Move, a local initiative that promotes walking and wheeling to school for healthier, more active children and safer communities.

    The BWG On the Move working group has been making great efforts to develop tools and resources to help make active transportation to school a success.

    The Town’s contractor will be completing tree and sidewalk pruning over the coming weeks. This routine maintenance is important to:

    • Ensure safe passage along sidewalks and roadways

    • Improve visibility for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians

    • Support the long-term health of our urban trees

    Pruning work will take place on the following streets:
