A Donation Bin Licence is required to install any donation bin within the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
A donation bin is a receptacle located outdoors and placed, installed, displayed, operated, used, altered or maintained for the purpose of collecting donated items from the public, including but not limited to: clothing, appliances, electronics, household items, metal, paper, recyclables and toys, but does not include a receptacle located within a building or a receptacle owned or operated by the Town.
The Donation Bin Licence is valid for one (1) year and expires on January 31st annually.

You Are Required to Submit:

A completed Application Form.

Photo identification (driver's licence or passport are accepted).

A completed Property Owner Consent Form.

Non-profit information (if applicable).

A certificate of general liability insurance ($2,000,000 minimum).

Zoning approval, permitted in commercial zones only (to verify Zoning compliance please contact BWG's Planning Division: 905 775 5369).

All applications must include consent from the owner of the property where the donation bin will be placed.
