Project Description
The objective of the Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) upgrades projects is to address the plant's operational requirements and ensure that there is adequate wastewater treatment capacity to service growth to 2031 and beyond. There are two ongoing WPCP upgrade projects.
1: WPCP Critical Upgrades Project
Plant state of good repair analysis, process optimization study and upgrades validation. Design and construction for upgrades to the plant headworks building, chemical/ odour control systems and a new sludge thickening system. These upgrades are implemented under three construction projects
i. WPCP Headworks Upgrades project will replace the headworks building's odour control system
