Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Upgrades Project
Description:
The objective of the Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) upgrades projects is to address the plant's operational requirements. This will ensure that there is adequate wastewater treatment capacity to service growth to 2031. The project consists of three phases.
Project Phase 1: WPCP Reviews and Upgrades Project
Plant state of good repair analysis, process optimization study and upgrades validation. Design and construction for upgrades to the plant headworks building, chemical/ odour control systems and a new sludge thickening system.
Project Phase 2: WPCP Tertiary Treatment System Upgrades Project
Design and construction for plant tertiary treatment system upgrades.
Project Phase 3: WPCP Optimization and State of Good Repair Analysis Upgrades Project
Design and construction for projects recommended by the plant process optimization and state of good repair analyses.
