Notice of Complete Application for a Draft Plan of Subdivision

Once a date for a Public Information Meeting has been set, Notice will be sent out in accordance with the Planning Act.

Description of Application
The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is in receipt of an application for a 703 unit residential plan of subdivision, resulting from the approval of a Zoning Order approved by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing (Zoning Order 003-2026). The application proposes 383 detached dwellings, 320 townhouse dwellings, two (2) park blocks, one (1) block for a stormwater management facility and a partial block for a future public secondary school all on a network of public roads.

Draft Plan of Subdivision (O.Reg 544.06)
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, when one is held, or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the Town gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, when one is held, or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, when one is held, or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
