Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury that a Municipal Election will be held on Monday October 26, 2026 to elect the following positions:
Municipal Council
Mayor: One (1), elected at large
Deputy Mayor: One (1), elected at large
Councillor – Ward 1: One (1)
Councillor – Ward 2: One (1)
Councillor – Ward 3: One (1)
Councillor – Ward 4: One (1)
Councillor – Ward 5: One (1)
Councillor – Ward 6: One (1)
Councillor – Ward 7: One (1)
School Board Trustees
English Public – Simcoe County District School Board: One (1)
English Separate – Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board: One (1)
French Public – Conseil scolaire Viamonde: One (1)
French Separate – Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir: One (1)
Voting Period and Methods
All voting will take place by internet or telephone only. Voting begins at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, and continues until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026. Eligible electors may vote 24 hours a day throughout this period using a touch-tone telephone or a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet access. Eligible electors may vote only once in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, regardless of how many properties they own or rent in the municipality.
Voter Information Letters were mailed through Canada Post in early October to qualified electors on the Voters’ List. Your letter contains your unique PIN, the voting website address and telephone number, instructions for voting and information about voter assistance.
Please review your letter to ensure your name, qualifying address, ward and school support information are correct. If any information is incorrect, please visit the BWG Voters List Online Registration Portal to update your information, or attend the Town Administration Office during regular office hours. Retain your letter for voting and keep your PIN confidential.

Are You on the Voters’ List?
You can check whether you are on the Voters’ List, add your name or update your information through the BWG Voters List Online Registration Portal. To add your name or update your information, you must provide acceptable identification showing your name and qualifying BWG address.
You may also register or update your information in person at the Town Administration Office, 100 Dissette Street, Units 7 & 8, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., or at a Voter Help Centre during its scheduled hours.
Voter Help Centres
Voter Help Centres are established during the Voting Period (October 16, 2026, to October 26, 2026) to assist electors with the voting process and to make additions and amendments to the Voters’ List. Internet voting kiosks will be available for electors who wish to vote in person. If attending a Voter Help Centre, please bring your Voter Information Letter, if available, or acceptable identification that includes your qualifying address.
