Supporting Wildfire Evacuees
The Town of BWG is proud to partner with Odenaang Circle and the BWG Public Library to collect donations for families displaced by wildfires across Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, and BC.
Items Needed:
- Clothing (all sizes, clean)
- Baby items and diapers
- Pet food and items
- Books and children’s toys/games
- Hygiene products
- Suitcases and backpacks
Donations can be dropped off at the followng locations until end of day Friday, July 24.
- BWG Public Library: 425 Holland Street West
- Town of BWG Administration Office: 100 Dissette Street Unit 7&8
- Town of BWG Growth Services Office: 305 Barrie Street, Unit 2
- BWG Leisure Centre: 471 West Park Avenue
The Odenaang Circle will send all donations to True North Aid, who will get essentials directly into the hands of families who need them most. Since 2009, True North Aid has delivered hundreds of thousands of pounds of supplies to northern communities across Canada. Your donation helps them respond fast, alongside the communities they serve.
