Notice of Intention to Remove a Holding Symbol from Zoning By-law 2010-050 

Pursuant to Section 36(4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended 
 
Take notice: 
 
That the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury intends to pass an amending by-law to remove a holding symbol from Zoning By-law 2010-050, as amended by By-law 2020-61. 
 
The earliest the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury proposes to meet to pass the amending by-law is at its meeting scheduled for  
 
Tuesday August 4, 2026 at 7:00pm 
at 
BWG Library and Cultural Centre (Zima Room)

Description of Application  
The lands to which the proposed by-law applies are legally described as Part of Lots 1 & 2, Concession 6 and municipally known as 4155 County Road 88 as shown on the map below. The effect of the removal of the Holding (H1) symbol from By-law 2010-050, as amended by By-law 2020-61, is that the lands will be zoned Residential One Exception "R1-1*11" Zone, Residential One Exception "R1-2*16" Zone, Residential Two Exception "R2-1*11" Zone, Institutional "I" Zone, thereby permitting the development of 44 street townhouse dwellings and 141 single detached dwellings as per the Subdivision Agreement. Portions of the lands are also zoned Environmental Protection “EP” Zone and Open Space “OS” Zone, to which the Holding (H1) symbol does not apply.
