Mayor and Council Golf Classic

The BWG Mayor & Council's Golf Classic is coming this June!

Date: Friday, June 16, 2023

Time: Check-in opens at 7:30am, shotgun start at 9:00am

Location: Club at Bond Head (4805 7th Line, Bond Head)

Tournament Beneficiary

Each year this event raises funds for important community services and initiatives. For 2023, all proceeds will be donated to the new Nature Centre project at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area. For those who have not visited this gem, Scanlon Creek is a 300 hectare natural paradise for hikers, birders, picnickers, and those wanting to connect with nature. The park is owned and managed by our partners at the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority.

The new Nature Centre will replace a facility that has hosted generations of school children from Simcoe County, York Region and beyond. The educational and experiential activities offered at the new centre will help cultivate a lasting sense of environmental responsibility and demonstrate the importance of preserving our precious green spaces.
