In celebration of the Holland Marsh Centennial, the Town of BWG is proud to offer FREE guided bus tours through the heart of the Marsh. Join us for a 1.5-hour immersive experience where you’ll explore the history, significance, and innovation of this rich and agriculturally abundant region that has shaped our community for generations.
Tours will take place on June 7 and September 20, with two time slots available each day at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Each tour includes stops at the Art Janse Pumping Station and the Muck Crops Research Station, offering a firsthand look at the infrastructure and science behind the Marsh's success.
Spots are limited and pre-registration is required. Sign up for one of the timeslots below by June 5, 2025 to reserve your seat on this unique journey through the "The Soup and Salad Bowl of Ontario".

Tour Details
- Tours will begin at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm sharp, rain or shine.
- Onboarding and offboarding will be at the BWG Leisure Centre located at 471 West Park Avenue (please enter on Brian Collier Way with parking available at the Leisure Centre).
- Registrants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour start time.
- Each tour has a maximum of 25 seats with 2 accessible seats available.
- Look for the Simcoe County LINX bus upon arrival.
