Thank you to everyone who entered BWG’s Light Up BWG Decorating Contest! We received the most entries EVER this year, with incredible festive displays from residents and businesses across town. With so much creativity and holiday spirit on display, our judges had a very tough decision!

After careful deliberation, entries were scored on creativity, level of effort, and overall impact. Congratulations to this year’s winners:

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this our biggest and brightest year yet. We can’t wait to see what BWG lights up in 2026!

In partnership with the Bradford Board of Trade (BBT), the Town of BWG is thrilled to launch its 2025 "Light Up BWG" contest – an outdoor holiday decorating competition open to all BWG residents and businesses.

 Now through December 14, residents and business owners are invited to transform their homes and storefronts into dazzling displays of lights, ornaments, and seasonal decorations.

How to participate

1. Decorate your home/storefront.
2. Submit your address/storefront using our online form by 11:59 pm on December 14.

3. Online voting for the Community Award (business category) will take place online between December 14 to 11:59 pm on December 18 at noon * 
4. Council will tour each participating location on the evening of December 18 and judge the entries based on creativity, uniqueness, and overall impact.
