Town-Wide Urban Design Guidelines

The Town of BWG and its consultant - The Planning Partnership - are developing Town-Wide Urban Design Guidelines. The process of developing these guidelines will include significant public consultation; please refer to this website for more information on the project and how you can get involved.

What are Urban Design Guidelines?

The Town Wide Urban Design Guidelines will be an illustrated document to be used by the development community, Town departments and the general public to ensure that all future development - including homes, commercial and industrial properties, landscaped spaces and more - reflects the local context and character of the town while incorporating innovative ideas and best practices. They will help shape future development in the urban areas of Bradford and Bond Head, and guide the ongoing evolution from a small rural Town to a medium sized urban centre.
