The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury initiated a Schedule 'C' Municipal Class Environmental Assessment in 2009 after a Transportation Master Plan (OPA17) was completed in 2006. The Transportation Master Plan determined that existing traffic capacity was insufficient to accommodate projected population growth and future employment development. In 2010 the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment was completed and resulted in the selection of the preferred Parclo A-4 Interchange.
