Services include: enforcement of animal control regulations, public education, licensing of dogs, pick-up of injured or sick dogs, cats and wildlife and the operation of a animal shelter.

Emergency After-Hours Services are provided for domestic animals that require immediate medical attention. Other requests for service such as found and contained dogs, poop and scoop, licensing, barking, and running at large will be responded to during normal hours of operation.

Cat-related services:

BWG does not license cats (therefore no tags are required), and Animal Services does not patrol for stray cats; however, if there is a report about feral cats or damage to property, please contact Animal Services to begin an investigation.

Shelter services:

The Town of BWG has partnered with Roman Kennels (located at 3930 Yonge Street, Bradford) to provide shelter services for the municipality. This facility is a licensed kennel located within our municipality, making it convenient for BWG residents to pick up their found pet. The shelter is currently operating by appointment only. Please schedule an appointment by calling 905-778-3647.
