  • "No Parking 16th to the last day of the month" on the other side of the road.

This allows residents an opportunity to park on their side of the street for at least half of the month. If you reside on such a street, please ensure your visitors are also aware of the parking restrictions.

Accessible Parking Regulations

Regulations are in place to ensure that accessible parking spaces are available for those who need them. To monitor appropriate parking space use, Municipal Law Enforcement Officers are actively patrolling parking areas in the community.

Please remember:

  • Accessible Parking Spaces are only for individuals with the appropriate permit displayed.
  • The set fine for parking in an Accessible Parking space without appropriate permit displayed is $350.
  • Each accessible parking space is intended for one vehicle only.
  • Drivers parking next to an accessible parking spot should avoid parking on the access aisles. Marked with yellow stripes, the access aisles provide space for those with disabilities to get in and out of vehicles.
  • Permit holders eligible to park in an accessible spot are required to display their permit visibly on the dashboard or sunvisor so that the entire permit is clearly visible from outside of the vehicle.
  • Inappropriate use of the permit may result in the permit being seized.
  • Please contact the Enforcement Division for more information.

Private Lot Enforcement

The following steps are required to enforce parking on private property:

  3. Once the Letter of Authorization is submitted, Enforcement staff will conduct a site inspection of the private lot to ensure adequate signage is posted.
  4. Following a successful site inspection, the Enforcement Division will provide written authorization that parking enforcement can begin.
  5. Should you wish to report a vehicle in violation, an authorized caller can contact the Enforcement Division at 905-775-5366 x 1701. Please note that the Town does not provide 24/7 coverage and an Officer will attend as soon as possible on a priority basis.
