WHERE: Work will be taking place to improve the existing granular road base and to install a new asphalt road surface on Line 10, from Sideroad 10, 2,200 metres west.
WHEN: The Contractor is scheduled to begin the work on Thursday, September 22, weather permitting. It is expected that the entire project will take approximately two (2) to three (3) weeks to complete in its entirety once work begins.
Please note that the project start date is dependent on the contractor’s current work schedule and may be postponed by several days as a result of weather and/or other unforeseen delays outside of the contractor’s control.
WHAT: The work involves the placement, grading, and compaction of granular road base material and the installation and compaction of a new hot-mix asphalt road surface, the installation of new granular shoulders, and line marking.
HOW YOU MAY BE AFFECTED: Access to Line 10 and to residential driveways may be temporarily obstructed and/or delayed during the granular installation, as well as during the asphalt paving process.
Residents can also expect work to take place on weekends when necessary to ensure that the project is completed within the required timeframe.
Please note that garbage collection and school bus pick-up and drop-off will not be impacted by the proposed works.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience during this time.
