The event begins at 6:00pm with a tree lighting ceremony outside the BWG Leisure Centre in Sunshine Square. Activities take place inside the BWG Leisure Centre with pictures with Santa Claus from 6:30-8:30pm, sponsored by KJ Sikkema Photography and Leisure Skating from 6:30-8:15pm. Event participants will also have the opportunity to make holiday crafts and decorate cupcakes upstairs in the Multi-purpose room. Free cookies will be provided by Sweet B's and free hot chocolate will be provided by RBC Insurance. ​

This year the event will also include a Christmas Artisan Pop-up Shop, by local residents Sarah and Emily Dahlgren who are raising money to create 200 Festive Christmas Hampers in support of the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank.  

This event is open to everyone and all activities are free of charge.
