is Recreation & Parks Month, the Town of BWG is hosting Trails Day and the 19th
Annual Mayor's Hike for Health. All event activities
are free to all participants. This event is sponsored by the Bradford Lions. The Town of BWG has partnered with Scanlon Creek to offer this free event to the community. Parking will be free for this event. 11:00-11:15am -- Welcome & Introduction from Mayor Keffer & Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority 11:00am-1:00pm -- Games, Music by Russ Clayton and Busker Entertainment by Darren Bedford
11:15am-12:15pm -- Guide Hike with staff from the Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority
11:15am-1:00pm - Outdoor Family Fitness Activities
11:45am-1:00pm - BBQ Lunch and Snacks *all activities and times are subject to change
Parking will be free for the event, however please note there is normally a parking fee. The Conservation Authority has started a new fundraising initiative called TipTap. This is an easy way to give $5, $10 or $20 to help maintain and improve the Conservation Areas. When you see the sign you can tap your phone or card - it's a simple way to donate and help care for this greenspace. Donations go directly to the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation.
