​​Property Tax and Utility Certificate Request

The current fee for a Property Tax / Utility Certificate is $50.00 per tax roll (includes both property tax and water billing information).

Verbal updates on any Tax / Utility Certificate purchased can be obtained by contacting a Financial Services Representative at 905-775-5303 ext. 3100 / 3109 Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Please note that verbal updates will only be provided up to six months from the date the certificate is purchased.

If you wish to send in your Tax / Utility Certificate request with payment, the processing time is up to 10 business days from the time the payment is received. Peak times may result in longer service time.

Please submit your request in writing along with a cheque payable to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury:

Please note that we do not accept payment by credit card. Payment in person by cash, cheque or debit is accepted at our Finance Office, for mailed in requests payment is by cheque only.

Be sure to identify the correct property. If you do not have the full property information, you may obtain the assessment roll number for the property from either the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) by phone 1-866-296-MPAC (6722) or by searching on the County of Simcoe “interactive mapping” at

Incomplete requests may be returned for further information.

For mailed or dropped off requests, Tax/Utility Certificates will be mailed to the return address provided with the request unless pick up is arranged.
