Independent Electricity System Operator FIT Applications

Town of BWG Council passed a blanket resolution in support of roof-mounted solar panel projects that are seeking contracts via the Independent Electricity System Operator Feed-in Tariff (FIT) and microFIT Programs. Proponents of such projects may submit the resolution to the IESO.

Prior to council considering requests for support of all other project types (e.g. ground-mounted solar, bio-energy and on-shore wind), proposals will be subjected to a staff review, public information meeting, council report and $5,000 application fee.
