Although the provincial government recently announced that full-capacity outdoor events and parades are now permitted, the Town will be moving forward with the Spot Santa event that has been in the works for many weeks. Unfortunately, it is not feasible to put on our traditional parade at the last minute since it takes months of coordination and organizing, particularly on the part of businesses and groups that put so much time and resources into creating their beautiful floats. This decision was not made lightly, and Town staff and Council look forward to 2022 when we can come back bigger than ever to celebrate the parade's 20-year anniversary!
