Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting for a Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment
Pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended
Take notice that the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has received the following application to amend Zoning By-law 2010-050:

AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury will be holding a public meeting electronically on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 7:00 pm to consider the proposed amendment to Zoning By-law 2010-050, as amended. The Council meeting will be streamed live on the Town’s YouTube channel at:

Please note that there may be more than one public meeting and that the matter will be dealt with in the order that it appears on the agenda.
The purpose and effect of the proposed amendment is to rezone Block 195 from the Future Development “FD” and Residential One Exceptions “R1-1*5, R1-1*6 and R1-1*7” Zones to the Residential One Exception “R1-2*12” Zone to permit the construction of 11 detached dwellings and Lot 207 from the Residential One Exception “R1-1*5” Zone to the Residential One Exception “R1-2*12” Zone. The rezoning of both parcels will be compatible with the surrounding lots within Plan of Subdivision 51M-1196.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the nature of the proposal, invite public input, and answer questions regarding the application.
Any person may make a submission in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law amendment. Please see the “Protocol for Electronic Participation in Meetings of Council” for participation in the Public Meeting if you wish to make an oral submission. The Protocol is set out at bradfordwestgwillimbury.civicweb.net. If you are unable to make written submissions and therefore wish to make an oral statement during the meeting please email clerk@townofbwg.com prior to noon on September 28, 2021 to register. You will be provided further instructions on how you will connect during the virtual meeting. All oral statements will be recorded as part of the electronic meeting and will be posted for public viewing on www.youtube.com/c/TownofBradfordWestGwillimbury.
If you wish to be notified of Council’s decision regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must submit a written request to Brandon Slopack at the address shown in the paragraph above.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the Public Meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the proposed Zoning By-law amendment is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
