National Coaches Week
September 17-25, 2022
The Coaches Association of Ontario is a non-profit, coach-led organization founded in 2002 providing assistance to coaches in all sports and creating an excellent, safe, and enjoyable experience for all athletes and participants at every stage of their sport involvement.
The purpose of National Coaches Week is to provide the 300,000 coaches who call Bradford West Gwillimbury and Ontario home with the resources, representation, and recognition they deserve for the time they devote to ensuring Canadians live an active and healthy lifestyle; and
National Coaches Week encourages Canadians to say thanks and celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities. This week will focus on putting a spotlight on coaches and give this, largely volunteer and integral part of Canadian sport thanks.
The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury recognizes the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and our community.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That His Worship Mayor Rob Keffer and Members of Council proclaim September 17-25, 2022, as NATIONAL COACHES WEEK in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
