Home escape plans are used when you need to evacuate your house or apartment and need to get out fast.

  • Develop a plan by drawing a floor plan of your home
  • Show the locations of doors, windows, stairs etc...
  • Indicate the location of emergency supplies
  • Use a colored pen to draw two escape routes from each room
  • Mark a place outside the home where family members can meet
  • If your house has two floors, use two pieces of paper
